Martin Callahan - 3 + 4 Part 3 - continued...Martin Callahan - 3 + 4 by ~SlinkyAxis
We were on the 7th floor, and I remember distinctly watching a parade of shimmering rectangles flash onto the ceiling and walls, projected from the restless traffic and the jungle of neon signs. The low and heavy breath of life, emanated from the city and its inhabitants, in and out, it was steady and constant. It was at this point, as Florence locked my torso in her arms that bullets tore into the apartment, through the door, leaving craters in the wall opposite. More shots, more violence. At this rate, I won't survive to see the weekend. We both had leapt up, and I stared long and hard at Florence's outstretched arm.

Today I live today,Today by ~SlinkyAxis
In the moment,
The tarmac is alive,
I hear it breath,
Under my soles,
The earth sighs,
In unison with me
I live today,
The flowers bloom,
The scent dances,
Onto my wet hair,
I smile and dance,
With the fragrance,
Forget where I am
I live today,
I may die tomorrow,
Let it be, Let it be,
I feel love,
I feel pain,
It doesn't matter,
Into the earth again.
